How to get to the Philippines and Negros

By Air:
International Airports
There are two International Airports in the Philippines, Manila City and Cebu City



Domestic Airports
The Island of Negros has two domestic airports.
It is the domestic airport of Bacolod ( recommended ) in the north and the domestic airport of Dumaguete in the south. Both airports are app. 170 km away from Sipalay City.

You can book a flight from Manila or from Cebu to Bacolod, or you get a flight from Manila to Dumaguete. Both airports offer Taxi Service to the City or directly to Sipalay City. Price app. 4000 to 4500 Pesos. At Bacolod’s airport, there’s a Shuttle Bus service going as far as SM Supermall in Bacolod. Price Pesos 100.

By Ferry:
Cebu or Tagbilaran
Travellers from Cebu can get a fast ferry via Tagbilaran ( Bohol ) to Dumaguete.

Via Boracay - Iloilo - Bacolod - Sipalay
From Boracay (Caticlan) you can get a Minivan (L300) to go via Kalibo to Iloilo. (5 hours trip, 300 Pesos) Upon arrival in Iloilo, you can get a fast ferry to Bacolod.

At the ferry pier in Bacolod, there’re Taxi’s going to the bus station or to Sipalay.



Via Malapasqua - Bantayan Island - Negros - Sipalay
There is a ferry from Malapasqua to Bantayan Island. From Bantayan there’s an other ferry connection to Negros (Victorias).
From Victorias, you can ride a bus to Sipalay via Bacolod.



By Bus:
Buses from Bacolod leaving for Sipalay City every hour. (5 hours or more, price 300 Pesos)
Pls check for the sign board "Hinoba-an". There are direct connection between Bacolod and Sipalay.
Twice a day, there’re aircon buses available.

Buses from Dumaguete leaving for Sipalay City every hour. (5 hours or more, price 300 Pesos)
Pls check the bus for the sign board "Bayawan". You might change the bus in Bayawan for "Hinoba-an"
In Hinoba an, you might transfer to an other bus again going to Sipalay.

Passenger from Cebu can also get a bus going to Bato (South Cebu) and cross over by ferry to Tampi (Negros).
You can remain seated in the bus. From Tampi the bus is going to Dumaguete. (pls check buses from Dumaguete)

Once you arrive in Sipalay by bus, just go to PAT’S Restaurant for transportation going to ARTISTIC DIVING. The owner of the Restaurant, Felix, will assist you. A trip with a single motorbike to Punta Ballo cost app. Pesos 150. There’re now also Tricycle available.
